Handled’s Top 5 From Theatre’s Biggest Night- 2018 Tony Awards

With the season of award shows, the Tony’s 2018 bring the Theatrics, and we are not just talking musical numbers of self-proclaimed losers, MSD’s Seasons of Love, or Bobby D telling us what he really thinks about the current state of politics. We’re talking shimmer, chiffon, crimson red, divas, diamonds and dashing ensembles.

Here are some of our picks for last night’s Best Dressed Winners:

Christine Baranski is chic personified.

This all white Alexandre Vauthier tux keeps this timeless beauty fresh like spring and glamourous paired with amazing sparkling embellished shoes. The shoes have yet to be named, our guess: Manolo. Well done Ms. Baranski, well done.

Talk about being Marvelous (Mrs. Maisel that is)!

Our #2 pick Rachel Brosnahan stunned us all in an amazing Dolce & Gabbana floral sequined ensemble paired with Fred Leighton jewelry. This shimmering feast leaves us all hopeful and romantic for the summer to come.

Condola Rāshad schools us on wearing red on the carpet.

Carolina Herrera does it again and Condola Rāshad does not disappoint.  We are not complaining about the colour red dominating this year’s carpet. Gondola simultaneously oozed sex appeal and timeless elegance (not an easy feat!) and brought us back in time with this fantastic off the shoulder ball gown.

Oh Canada!

Tatiana Mislay (of Orphan Black fame) brought us back to sequins and florals in this enchanting Zac Posen sheer dress paired with simple black strappy heels.

Welcome to the (theatre) stage Tina Fey.

Wow, Tina usually keeps it clean and classic, but last night she brought her high-fashion A-game in a custom Thom Browne. With this tailored on the top and party on the bottom getup Tina showcased her personality, leaving us with a glitzy need to go out and get our feathers ruffled.
